Writer and producer

Humour or trauma, comedy or tragedy, share two characteristics: they are perspectival in nature and hold incongruity at their core.  Ashleigh's work seeks to address themes of justice, transformation and healing.  She has a penchant for the underdog and is genuinely curious about and inspired by the experiences of those who are often discounted.  She is inspired by looking into dark crevices and giving voice to the voiceless.  She seeks to create emotive artworks which shift perceptions by portraying people as the complex, compelling individuals they are.
